Biography
I am a recent alumni of the BSc. Neuroscience program at the University of Lethbridge, where I (somehow) graduated with high distinction. Additionally, I played goalkeeper for the Pronghorns women soccer program for 4 years and have remained in Southern Alberta since beginning my first year of post-secondary education. My favourite past times include hiking all over the Rocky Mountains, baking cookies, playing my saxophone, diving into the mysteries of the brain, and the occasional sangria. I am interested in many different research fields in neuroscience, and have been heavily influenced and enlightened by the teachings of Dr. Bryan Kolb, Dr. Majid Mohajerani, Dr. Matthew Tata, and Dr. Javid Sadr. Future plans include graduate studies in neuroscience, specifically with regards to the research of Alzheimer’s Disease.
