Research Interests

I’m interested in better understanding the functional interactions between the hippocampus and the visual cortex. More specifically, how hippocampal output influences visual processing. I use large-‐scale electrophysiological recordings and two-‐photon calcium imaging in mice performing tasks that actively involve both areas. The results of this study will shed light on hippocampal modulation on sensory processing, and will form the basis for understanding memory-‐related sensory processing disorders.
